Meet New York Comic Con

The New York Comic Con is an annual event highlighting aspects of popular culture including comic books, television, movies, video games, anime, toys and more. It was first held in 2006 to a beyond sold-out crowd. It has grown exponentially year after year, and in 2014, surpassed San Diego Comic Con as the largest convention of its kind in North America.

The Con has also hosted numerous counter-culture events, including the American Anime Awards and the eSports championship Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge. The Con remains one of the premiere comic book events in the world.
